Nightstand
Nightstand
2021
A Collaborative project with Lewis Duckworth. Similar to the ︎Tara Dresser, this project sprung from the challenge we set ourselves to create an interior object within a 5 hour window. Only having leftover material from the Trench Installation to our disposal; sandbags, lacquered wooden slats and parquet flooring. Out of the process came a nightstand made out of the sandbags bound together with sailing knots, the lacquered wood for ornamentation and the parquet flooring to create a flat surface. One sandbag is left exposed to embrace the moldable property of the sand, pressing dimples into it in order to create a space for jewelry.
