A ︎Tarascon project, a dresser existing out of a wooden grid where wooden panels can be placed upon in different ways.
The dresser was born from the challenge we set ourselves of having a limited time window of three days to go from nothing to a finished object. Moreover, we had to work with the only material we had, a collection of leftover wood panels and dozens of roof battens. Roof battens added on to the challenge since they are characterized for being long slats of low quality wood, untreated since they are only used to support roof tiles.
The idea developed into wanting to create an interior object that binds the living room together, despite the material being meant for a totally different purpose. What came out of the process was an armchair merged into a dresser which displays objects of importance and beauty in a stylish way.
